Ziptrak® - Manual or Motorised?

One hand, One Finger or One Voice!

Considering manual or motorised Ziptrak® Blinds? We explain the configuration to you

But before we head into the differences, i wish to use this chance to quickly go through with you the pros and cons for using Manual or Motorised Ziptrak

We generally prefer manual type because you have lesser moving parts and mechanical parts to worry about.

However when we consider them holistically, sometimes it might be better to go for motorised.

Manual:

If you have the habit of losing things, you might forgot where you actually place the remote, however other than that, important points to consider:
1) Faster deployment of blinds, light weight and smooth operations
2) Durable and lesser known issues
3) If you do not need to operate the blinds frequently
4) No need to run electrical points especially when you are retrofitting the blinds into a moved in space (cost savings)

See how easy it is to operate manually

Motorised:

Apart from the “Feel Cool” factor, which we strongly advise against, importantly are the following to consider:
1) Hard to reach places
2) Elderly or family member whom are limited by their movement physically
3) Make it easy for family members and domestic helper to control

Now lets go to other details and aspects of it.
